years ago . . . they had this WONDERFUL blow-up Spider-Man
in the front window, and the best selection of independent

and I would like to thank you for your service! I have
only one small criticism of your service, and I offer
it to you as a suggestion to better serve your on-line
customers... You asked for my email address-- al930009@omega.scs.carleton.ca--
and yet you did not use it to confirm my order with
you with an email reply. I was worried for a couple
of weeks that my order had not been processed, and that
I may have given out my order (and credit card info)
to a less-than- reputable source, or it may have been
intercepted. Even though you may use a secure server
to process on-line transactions, I think that some kind
of reply thru email would, to me, be some kind personal
assurance that my order was acknowledged. I received
no such acknowledegement, nor did I receive any information
about how I might be kept abreast of the status of my
order. I was concerned enough to contact my credit card
company to see if any unauthorized transactions had
been made on my card (of which there are none).
If
you did attempt such an acknowledgement and were unable
to send one to me, I sincerely apolgize. I *am* quite
happy that you filled my order, and offer this comment
as constructive criticism, in order to serve your customers
better.
I do appreciate your service, and hope I can do business
again with you in the future.

Hi Tom, all of our credit card info, as well as shipping
and international ordering info can be found on the
"Ordering Information" link on our first page. If we
tried to fit everything on one page it would become
an awfully long page to read. And yes, we have been

I understand that the email site is under
construction so I'll withhold some specific questions
I have and save them to annoy you with later! For now
though, it would be helpful if someone could tell me if
the status of "temporarily out of stock" items are just
that: temporary. Some items which are labelled as such
are things which I've scoured stores and internet sites
for and have not found till I came to The Source. Also,
not being up on my comic lingo, what does [MR] stand for
after some of the comics you list?
This is undoubtably *the* best comics and collectibles
site I've have run upon on the internet. I went through
all of them that Yahoo listed (in reverse alphabetical
order unfortunately) till I finally found what I was
looking for here. Thanks in advance!
"Temporarily
out of stock" means we normally carry the item but we
sold the last one and are waiting for a reorder from
our suppliers. Depending on the supplier or the item,
we may wait anywhere from three days to six months!
Sometimes our suppliers are themselves out of stock
and have to wait until the publisher/manufacturer sends
them the item before they can ship it to us.
MR is one of the codes we put into our computer/ cash
register system. It means Mature Readers, i.e., an
advisory that the item is not suitable for young children.
(ADULT means we won't sell the item to anyone under
18). It helps prevent our clerks from say, selling
Milk & Cheese to a 9-year-old. Thanks for the kind
words.
